Discovered in Vechta: Oldenburg champion mares

Champions are discovered in Vechta - like this year's mare queens. The Oldenburg Elite Mare Show thrilled again in front of the impressive backdrop of the Rasteder Schlosspark. A furious mare lot captivated with exquisite qualities.

Faraglioni, born 2018, by Feinrich a.d. Doria by Dormello - Figaro - Waldlöwe, bred by Hermann Röchte, Lohne, owned by Rothenberger Ventures GmbH, Bad Homburg, was crowned the celebrated champion mare of the Verband der Züchter des Oldenburger Pferdes (OL). The outstanding mare achieved an overall score of 9.33 in her mare performance test. Her brother Feodor Nymphenburg OLD by Farewell III was discovered in Vechta and impresses under Lana Raumanns in the S-class. Silver in the lot of dressage mares went to Evita, born 2017, by Morricone I out of Estelle by Sandro Hit - Feiner Stern - Harlekin, bred and owned by Günter Lüschen, Wardenburg. Dam Estelle also excelled in Rastede in 2013 and produced the licensed Sezarion by Sezuan and auction price highlight My Fire by Morricone I. 

The Vice-Bundeschampionesse First Date OLD, born 2017, by For Dance out of Wentana by Weltmeyer - Brentano II - Wörmann, bred by Dr. Hans-Hermann Lagershausen, Berne, ownend by Martina & Dr. Hans-Hermann Lagershausen, Berne, was awarded bronze. Dam Wentana produced the Prix St. Georges winning Svenson by Stedinger for Marc-Patrick Fritz and Apanage by Ampere for Franz Trischberger.

Tiramisu, OS, born 2018, by Toulon out of Adella Joie by Diamant de Semilly - Voltaire - Galoubet A, bred and owned by Dassel Zuchtgemeinschaft, Satow, won the title champion mare of the Springpferdezuchtverband Oldenburg-International (OS). The jumping mare received an overall score of 8.77 in her performance test and the highest score of 10.0 for free jumping. The mare comes from the same dam line as the line founder Cor de la Bryere by Rantzau xx. 

The silver medal among the OS mares went to Late Night Berlin, born 2018, by Casino Berlin out of Laquirinha by Quality - Landor S - Contender, bred and owned by Gerd Sosath, Lemwerder. The Reserve Champion comes from the renowned Heida dam line. Her dam Laquirinha is the sister of the 2017 Champion Mare Lady Cadora OLD by Catoki as well as the international show jumpers Cador and Cadora, both by Catoki.

The Ic premium was awarded to Unique, born 2018, by Ogano Sitte out of Ulyne du Landais by Le Tot de Semilly - Laudanum xx - Iveday, bred by Hugo Mossu Avendano, Steinfeld, and owned by Bernd Osterkamp, Lindern.
