Price peaks from the Huslage family

Guests from all over the world secured their Oldenburg future star in Vechta shortly before Christmas. In the future, numerous auction candidates of the 4th Oldenburger Special Edition will inspire Oldenburg friends abroad, five horses will start their journey to the United States. The quality of the riding horse collection reflected the great result with an average price of 38,000 Euros. Especially the successful horse breeders, the Huslage family from Essen in Lower Saxony, has every reason to be pleased.

The Huslage family from Essen is trumping in the Advent season: Both price peaks for over 100,000 Euros come from the breeding of the successful Oldenburg breeder dynasty Huslage. A new customer from the USA bought her Christmas present in Vechta for 110,000 Euros. The magnificent three-year-old Fascination by Farell - Royal Diamond - Grundstein I, is sister of the dam of Star Light, second price peak, as well as of Goldana/Intermediaire I winning with Leslie Reid from Canada. Dam Grundessa is sister of the top Grand Prix winning auction price highlight from 2000 Donnegal under Jaye Cherry, USA.

Second price highlight with a knockdown of 101.000 Euros was the four-year-old Star Light by Santo Domingo - Donnerschwee - Royal Diamond, bred by Bernd Huslage jun. from Essen, and exhibited by PEI from Bremen. Dam Grundana is sister of the top priced Fascination as well as the Intermediaire I-winning Goldana by Sir Donnerhall I under Leslie Reid from Canada.

For 60.500 Euros the third price highlight, the seven-year-old show jumper Arya Stark by Antango - Stedinger - Coriander, bred by H. & E. Glindemann from Brokstedt, Schleswig-Holstein, and exhibited by b-Horses from Eckernförde, Schleswig-Holstein, went to the USA. This extravagant grey mare has already been placed in 1.30 m jumping competitions. Out of the dam line come the 1.60 m successful Click N'Chic/Patrice Delaveau, FRA, Lady Limbus/Steve Guerdat, SUI, and Ttoba/Fahad Aljuaid, KSA.

In the price list followed the powerful jumping youngster Quito by Quidamo - Gavi - Cevin Costner, bred by Gestüt Sprehe from Löningen, Lower Saxony. The four-year-old gelding changed to a renowned, internationally successful show jumping stable in Hungary for 55,500 Euros. His third dam Sprehe All The Best by Almox Prints J/Trak. - Grannus, was successful in 1.50 m courses under René Tebbel and produced the 1.40 m winner Leon Q by Quidam's Rubin with Marc Boes in the saddle.

The now 11th online auction of the Oldenburg Verband in 2020 was the crowning conclusion of a brilliant year. Twelve of 19 auction candidates were purchased by Oldenburg friends from abroad. In future, they will bring joy in the USA (5), Great Britain (2), Hungary (2), Ireland (1), Austria (1) and South Africa (1). The 4th Oldenburger Special Edition shone with an average price of around 38,000 Euros and a total turnover of 723,000 Euros.
