Oldenburg Elite Foals popular and desired

Oldenburg foals are in demand. Fans around the world secured their young Oldenburg star with brilliant dam lines in the 19th Elite Foal Auction. More than half of the foals switch to Oldenburg friends from abroad.

The magnificent Victor Hugo by Valverde - Donnerhall - Lanthan, bred and exhibited by Bernhard Osterloh from Cappeln/Lower Saxony became the top priced foal with 36,500 Euros. His brother is the licensed stallion Symphony by Sandro Hit. The strong-moving colt will give pleasure to a stallion owner in Switzerland in the future.

The second price highlight with a top price of 33,000 Euros was Baronesse by Borsalino - Foundation - De Niro, bred and exhibited by Zuchtstall Kotschofsky from Visbek/Lower Saxony. Brother Barcelo already impressed at the 2018 Elite Foal Auction. The prima ballerina is switching also to customers in the alpine republic, to Austria.

The price peak of the jumping foals with 32,000 Euros was Conny by Cornet Obolensky - Balou du Rouet - Diarado, bred and exhibited by the Oldenburg breeding company Visco, Slovakia. Granddam Diamond by Diarado is the sister of top stallion Conthargos. The filly will move to customers in Germany.

The colorful Hattrick de Couleur by Halifax van het Kluizebos - Hickstead - Numero Uno, bred by Anton Vullers, Netherlands, and exhibited by Hartwig Schoof, Hedwigenkoog/Schleswig-Holstein became the second most expensive jumping foal for 13,500 Euros. The sporty stallion candidate is the brother of the young sire Asterix de Couleur by Aganix du Seigneur and will change hands to customers in the USA.

At all the Elite Foal Auctions of the Oldenburger Pferde-Vermarktungs GmbH it is very clear that the excellent dam lines are the important foundation for success: highly specialized in all generations, modern and above all with pedigrees that are successful in top sport.

13 out of 25 auction candidates were bought by Oldenburg friends from abroad. In the future they will bring joy in Austria (4), USA (4), Switzerland (2), Belgium (1), Great Britain (1), and in the Netherlands (1). The 19th Elite Foal Auction shone with an average price of over 14,800 Euros and total sales of 370,500 Euros.
